Renovation works at the Silver Lake meeting rooms of La Réserve Resort

Renovation works at our Silver Lake rooms are in full swing at La Réserve Resort. These rooms, with direct access to the beautiful Zegemeer lake, are being completely renovated in line with the refined style of our hotel. Starting in early 2025, the rooms will be available for conferences, events, and exclusive meetings. Chef Tom appointed as executive chef of La Rigue

Chef Tom Wazian, a driven and experienced chef from Peer, has recently been appointed as executive chef of La Rigue. With almost ten years of experience as sous-chef at Slagmolen and a period at Kasteel van Ordingen, Chef Tom immediately brought expertise and leadership to our kitchen. Peter Goossens continues to determine the menus but has entrusted Chef Tom with the daily management of the 20-person team. With respect for Peter Goossens' high standards and room for his own vision, Chef Tom ensures that every meal at La Rigue is a top-tier experience. Chef Tom is known for his dedication, attention to detail, and passion for quality.

The culinary journey of La Rigue continues

We are pleased to announce that Peter Goossens is stepping down as culinary consultant of La Rigue after three years. His expertise contributed to the launch and growth of our restaurant, including a Gault&Millau score of 14.5 and a mention in the Michelin Guide. We thank him for his valuable contribution. The day-to-day management is now in the hands of Tom Wazian, who was appointed executive chef earlier this year in the presence of Peter Goossens. Tom brings his extensive fine-dining experience and will continue to shape the future of La Rigue with our dedicated team, where gastronomy and refinement continue to come together.
