King Jazz continues as house band at La Réserve Resort: timeless jazz in a luxurious setting
King Jazz, the jazz trio from Knokke-Heist, continues as one of the house bands at La Réserve Resort in 2025. With their signature mix of accessible jazz and pop, they create a stylish atmosphere perfect for any event. The trio, consisting of Frederik Torresan (piano/vocals), Chris Van de Kerckhove (saxophone), and Thijs De Bree (drums/vocals), brings light, refined jazz that complements the elegant, relaxed vibe of La Réserve. Their performances are enjoyed by both hotel guests and local visitors, with a diverse audience making each night unique.

We are pleased to announce that Peter Goossens is stepping down as culinary consultant of La Rigue after three years. His expertise contributed to the launch and growth of our restaurant, including a Gault&Millau score of 14.5 and a mention in the Michelin Guide. We thank him for his valuable contribution.

Panamarenko’s Zoo by the Sea
Panamarenko’s ZOO by the Sea is the first exhibition to focus on the role of animals in Panamarenko’s art. A fascinating showcase where sculptures, drawings, photos, and moving images bring his love for animals and artistic vision to life. The exhibition is complemented by his complete series of multiples (1966-2019) and is located near the permanent installation Waving Crabs – Dancing Ensemble with Whirlpool and Fountain at Zegemeer. This unique exhibition is a collaboration between Knokke-Heist, the Panamarenko Foundation, various art collections, Zwin Nature Park, and Hotel La Réserve Resort. The curation is led by art historian Jo Coucke.
Michelin-starred Chef Nick Bril Opens Exclusive Pop-Up Restaurant at La Réserve Resort
La Réserve Resort proudly announces the arrival of Celestial by The Jane, an exclusive pop-up restaurant led by Michelin-starred chef Nick Bril. From May 9 to the end of August 2024, this gastronomic concept will serve three lunches and four dinners per week in the luxurious setting of La Réserve in Knokke-Heist. The focus is on refined dishes that pay tribute to the North Sea and Belgian terroir, combined with global influences. Yannick Bouts, general manager of La Réserve Resort, emphasizes that this pop-up concept perfectly aligns with the hotel's ambition to offer guests a unique culinary experience. Celestial by The Jane operates independently from the existing restaurant La Rigue, which continues to serve classic French and Belgian cuisine. Both restaurants will welcome hotel guests as well as external visitors.
Exclusive partnership with NSAC
La Réserve Resort in Knokke-Heist is proud to announce its exclusive partnership with North Sea Aviation Center (NSAC) for private flights. This collaboration allows us to offer our guests an even higher level of service.
NSAC, based at Ostend Airport, specializes in private and business aviation and offers extensive facilities. “We look forward to acting as a tailor-made travel butler for the discerning guests of La Réserve Resort,” says aviation advisor Abbas Miri.
This partnership aligns perfectly with La Réserve Resort’s broader strategy of continuously investing in quality and experience. Following previous initiatives such as the relaunch of Restaurant La Rigue, the five-star superior recognition, and partnerships with top brands, NSAC is a perfect addition to the resort’s luxury offering.
